Guest Column: Who is Ken Li?

Zhenguang "Ken" Li is a local real estate agent and landlord. He is being sued currently by one of his tenants who fell down and got hurt. Ken Li spends his days traveling from protest to protest across all of New York City holding the same signs. We are unsure if Ken Li gets paid to attend the protests and press conferences. The news reporters are saying Ken Li wishes to run against Assemblyman Lester Chang (R,C-Brooklyn) and this is his plan to gain notoriety in time for the big election.

I'm not sure what Ken is doing, I just know that everyplace I go, I see Ken Li holding these same signs. I go to Queens and Ken Li is there. I went to Bay Ridge and Ken Li is there. I went to Manhattan and there Ken was. Ken Li once told that me he runs a very important organization that I had never heard of called The National Anti-Violence Alliance of Nycpsp Association Inc. Have you ever heard of this very important organization? What is Nycpsp? They haven't been around for very long. Ken Li's "The National Anti-Violence Alliance of Nycpsp Association Inc." has only been around since October 2023.

Do you remember the old TV commercials “there goes that news van again”? That is what I think of when I see Ken Li. It doesn't matter if it's a protest against a homeless shelter for veterans in Bay Ridge or a protest against migrant school children in Queens or a protest against the Manhattan District Attorney, Ken Li is there with his signs.

So, the next time you hear a protest happening on your street, stop and take a moment to look for Ken Li. I'm sure he will be there somewhere with his signs. We just don't know why.
